Eli-G.co.uk is the personal website and portfolio of Elinor Gilbert.
I am based in Leeds, West Yorkshire in the UK and I have been developing websites as a hobby for 9 years, and as a profession for six months. I am currently employed at BrandNew and loving this chance to develop my personal and professional skills. At home I love to continue to broaden my web developing horizons through personal and freelance projects and I am beginning to expand my creativity into web design.
I specialise in PHP, MYSQL and I am coming to grips with Javascript and AJAX, working a lot with Jquery.
Below are a small selection of the websites that I have been working on. The majority of them have been designed by the talented web designer at BrandNew unless otherwise mentioned. I wouldn't blame my first steps into web design on him!
A website for a group of therapists in south Manchester.
I designed and developed the CMS for this website as a freelance project.
A site for the NHS dedicated to honoring staff who deserve recognition.
This site involved taking nominations and votes from a form, storing them in a database and offering the database output as an excel file download.
Website for an activity holiday resort.
This site is a content managed website and it was my first foray into ajax and javascript, using Jquery.
The CSS for this one was a particular challenge and I learned a lot from it.
